Deleting your data
Notification Purge has no user accounts, and we do not store your data on our servers. Everything the App saves (settings, schedules, the history of cleared notifications, ad consent and the analytics identifier) is on your device, and you can delete it as follows.
Option 1: Delete in the App
- Open Notification Purge.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete all app data" under "About this app".
- Tap "Delete" to confirm.
All data on the device is deleted, and muting is turned off if it was on.
Option 2: Uninstall
Go to Settings → Apps → Notification Purge → Uninstall. The App and all its data on the device are removed.
Usage analytics and crash reports
Turn off "Send usage and crash data" under "About this app" to stop sending usage analytics and crash reports (Firebase). "Delete all app data" also resets the analytics identifier and deletes unsent crash reports. Data already sent is deleted automatically after Google's retention period (up to 14 months).
Advertising data
Advertising data (Google AdMob) is managed by Google. Resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads unlinks it from previous data. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Requests and questions
If you can't delete your data using the steps above or have questions, contact support@notification.sucks. Since we don't hold your data, in most cases we will guide you through the steps above.
